LOCATION

The track facility is adjacent to Reid Ross Classical School, 3200 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC. This track is NEWLY  RENOVATED AS OF 8/30/18. This a 8 lane, 42 inches red all-weather track. It also has four jump pits, two shot put circles and pole vault. This site has been the location of many athletic events including, the CIAA Championship, the NC High School Regional Championship, and the Junior Olympic State Championship.

All Sprints events 100/200/400 and Hurdles 100/110/300 – 2 athlete’s per-team

All Distances races 800/1600/3200 – 3 athlete’s per-team

All Relay teams – 3 per-team (A, B&C)

All Field LJ/TJ/HJ/SP/Dis/PV events – 3 athlete’s per-school

The qualifying standards for ALL field events are: All Field Event Participants will get at least 1 mark, even if it does not meet the standard. (4 throws/jumps as finals) (HJ continuous flight)

ENTRY DEADLINE

Each school is allowed to enter Two (2) athletes per sprint (400 – under) event and Three (3) athletes per field events & distances (800 + up) races. Schools may enter up to three (3) relay teams per relay event. Each athlete may enter no more than Four (4) events to include field events and relays. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm Wednesday, April 1, 2020. No entries will be accepted after this date. No faxed entries will be accepted. Scratches will be done at the meet, (no replacement or add on). The make-up date is April 18. Go to http://www.nc.milesplit.com to register your team/athletes. 

** Please note that the Bill Carver meet does offer all state level events for Wheelchair/ Amputee/ Unified athletes. **

FEES

$55 Per team or $95 for both girls and boys teams, or $25 per athlete will be charged.(TEAM is 4 or MORE athletes)

ADMISSION

There is a $5 admission fee for ALL spectators.

CHECK-IN

Team packets will be available for pick-up at the track beginning at 8:30 am Saturday prior to the meet. Coaches meeting will be held at 9:00 am. There will be no addition made after April 1.

WARM-UPS

The track may be used for warm-ups until 9:45 am April 4. After this time, all warm-ups should be done on the yellow football / soccer field. Please do not set up any tents on the multi-purpose fields. During the course of the meet, only those athletes called to their events will be allowed on the infield or track. Any other athlete on the infield will be DQ from the meet. Athletes should report to check-in by the second call after third call they will be scratched.

EQUIPMENT

1/8” spikes are recommended. Using spikes longer than ¼” will result in disqualification from that event. AUTOMATIC TIMING by FINISH LYNX and starting blocks will be provided. Each team must provide their throwing implements. Equipment check-in: Pole Vault – pole/weight check at 9am – Girls PV start 9:30 am follow by Boys, remaining Field events start at 9:30am and track events 10:00am. Personal, Walkman-type radios are the only music systems allowed in the stadium.

RULES

All National Federation rules will be strictly enforced. Team scoring will be through eight places.

AWARDS

Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams in both boys and girls divisions. Medals will be awarded to the top three places in each event. The MVP track athlete and MVP field athlete in both boys and girls divisions. Outstanding Senior award will be awarded to a boy and girl athlete. Co-ed team 1^st place trophy for highest combined team score.

SOUVENIRS

Commemorative shirts will be on sale for $ 10 for small/medium,  $ 12 large and $ 15 for extra large and up.

CONCESSIONS

Food and drinks are available all day.
